Founded in 2012 with a deep commitment to educational upliftment, Swamy Vivekananda School today stands as a beacon of quality learning in the rural heartland of Belathur, Bagalur. With over 868 students from 45+ villages, we offer classes from LKG to Grade 12 under the Samacheer Kalvi syllabus, nurturing young minds from first-generation learners to future leaders.

Our campus is spread across 3.6 acres, surrounded by greenery and agricultural lands—offering a peaceful and inspiring environment for children to grow academically and personally. Over the years, the school has evolved from a small rural initiative to a recognized institution with highly qualified educators, strong academic results, and a focus on values-based education.

Our Journey – A Tribute to Vision & Determination

Swamy Vivekananda Matriculation Hr. Sec. School was born from the heartfelt vision of (Late) Shri C. V. Gopalappa, a humble and noble soul from the remote corners of Krishnagiri District. His dream was simple yet profound: to create a school where children from rural backgrounds could access the same quality of education as anyone else in the world.

In 2011, his untimely demise left the dream incomplete—but not forgotten. At just 20 years old, his son Mr. Thejas stepped up to fulfill that legacy, giving up his own dreams of a cricketing career to carry his father’s vision forward. In August 2012, Swamy Vivekananda School opened its doors—with belief, resilience, and a burning desire to serve.

From parents volunteering as first teachers, to today’s team of qualified faculty from across Tamil Nadu, the school has grown through dedication, sacrifice, and the generosity of the community. The founders even pledged their personal assets to secure the infrastructure and facilities that now empower hundreds of students daily.

Our mission extends far beyond academics. With full compliance to RTE norms and active scholarship support from organizations like the Jain Farm Residents Association, Aathreya Charitable Trust, and our own school trust, we continue to educate children who may otherwise never get the chance.
